What a positive surprise. Normally I don't write reviews. The camera was more of a Black Friday impulse buy and even before the camera arrived, I had my doubts again because of the reviews on YouTube. I have a few cameras for different purposes, some of them are professional cameras and therefore I can compare them. The most important thing is that I have rarely had a camera in my hands that is so much fun to use. This is on the one hand due to the good usability and on the other hand due to the phenomenal autofocus. The camera reacts to everything incredibly fast and directly. The Eyeautofokus works since the firmwareupodate 1.4 outstandingly and is a Gamechanger. Carefree open aperture (F/1.4) point and shoot - wow. Overall, the image quality is top notch. Sure, the dynamic range at iso100 could be a little better and the continuous shooting speed a little faster, but honestly, since I use the camera mainly as a causal cam for family, travel and excursions is not so important, but that great images dabeirauskommen - and this delivers the camera at professional level. On top of that, the price is very fair for the mirrorless full-frame and I also rated the camera accordingly. It's not a sports camera, nor is it the ultimate 50MP+ 15EV landscape camera - but it doesn't have to be. Bottom line: a really good camera that feels like one and not a computer.

The RP is really the best studio camera for me. It feels great in the hand. Is also comfortable and easy to hold with the RF 24-105 f4 and the RF 70-200 f4 even during longer studio shoots. But the best thing is the lock switch. Not a button, but a mechanical switch. It allows you to lock the camera. Optimal when working with the studio flash. The autofocus automatically focuses on the eyes. The pictures convince with an extreme sharpness. The resolution of 26 MP is perfectly adequate. The battery lasts for 1500 shots in studio mode. Super price/performance ratio. And the most important thing: I enjoy working with this camera every time. I can highly recommend the RP.

All in all, a great camera, e.g. for traveling. The only downer is the new bayonet. With the included adapter I can continue to use the EF lenses, but again means additional handling, volume and weight if I want to pack as space-saving as possible when traveling.

First impressions and also the first photos all around positive. Rather deterring the good 600 pages long manual, how do you read 600 pages PDF? But that's just high-tech. And you don't have to understand everything right away.
The full format is very pleasant if you started taking photos decades ago: Finally a digital camera where you don't have to convert lens focal lengths anymore :-)

Overall a great camera. Full frame and with these dimensions and weight! If you don't take it with you when you travel, you won't find an excuse.
Good workmanship, typical Canon. Does not measure up to the R or R6, so it weakens in speed and autofocus.
Smartphone connection works well. For the connection to the Mac (PC I do not know) must be installed extra software. What for ?
Video sequences it takes well. At 20min still no problem. An external microphone is recommended but.
The autofocus is often praised - I had my trouble with it. It finds people, everything else is a matter of luck. Manual intervention is not provided.
Night shots are really good thanks to the large sensor and hardly any noise.
The standard lens (24-105 4.0-7.1) is more for snapping. If you want to shoot videos or get more out of the camera, you should go for an L-lens.
I fell in love with the camera, it will remain my second camera. It certainly has the space :-)
