Battery miserable
The battery only lasts for about two shaves, although I charged and discharged it properly at the beginning. Plastic housing looks a bit thin and cheap. I have nothing to criticise about the pure shaving quality.

Braun BT 5070
I have owned the previous Braun BT 5070 for several years and have already replaced the cutting blade and the rather scarce battery once.
Now the rubber cover over the ON switch is becoming brittle, hence the replacement.
Why the discontinued BT 5070 model again? Advantage: The old model has a wide and a narrow Schehr blade (wide for beards, narrow for moustaches). Unfortunately, the successor model from Braun no longer has this feature.Pro

Good trimmer and easy to use
I have been using the same device weekly for 6 years and I am still satisfied. If this trimmer gives up the ghost, I will certainly go back to a Braun brand.

Very robust trimmer that lasts a long time. I ordered a new one after about 7 years.
Really doesn't shave that well.
This razor is ok when you're in your teens and early 20s, but very soon it leaves a lot to be desired.
Battery just...
Offers a good price/performance ratio. However, the battery is extremely short-lived. I have to recharge it after every use, so not suitable for camping etc.

Unfortunately, the battery does not charge at all for me. I probably received a faulty part. It's almost not worth it to send the thing in at this price. Because you have to look after yourself in the meantime. With cable it works.

To begin with, the beard trimmer (which I use more for the head than the beard) was a reliable product. The many adjustable cutting lengths are very comfortable. However, I find fitting the attachments a little awkward. It always took me several attempts to fit the attachment correctly. The small trimmer is useless.
After a short time (about 1 year), the battery became too weak for a complete head shave, which only allowed cable operation. Now, after about 2-3 years, the motor is weakening. This is my second Braun to show these signs! That's why I'm now going to change brands.Pro

The large beard trimmer with its adjustable length (2 attachments) is good. Pulls, does not pluck, cuts well. The detail beard trimmer (small shaver for details) is absolutely not worth it: does not pull, pluck or cut.
The battery is not what it promises. One full charge lasts two shaves and not a minute longer.
Waterproof is great and you can use it wet, although I wonder who would do that, because you don't shave wet with such a razor.
Material is so-so. Plastic, not solid, therefore light weight.
All in all, I wouldn't buy it again. I'm sure there are better ones for this price.
Attachment: after cutting three times with a long attachment, the blades of the attachment broke off (without any real force).

Just OK, nothing more, could be better.
I expected more in many ways. The whole device is quite small and because of this the blade part is not too wide. Also I have to use it on the same area for too many times to do a proper job. The battery is quite small and I have to recharge it after 2, max 3 usage. I wanted to replace a 8 years old Philips with this and after the first time I almost switched back to my old one. It is not bad, eventually it does the job, but I expected much more, since this is a quite popular product. But I have to mention, with the proper amount of time it can be a quite precise cutter, but you can not rush it!
