After hours of researching why my Bose Rear Speakers are so quiet; the solution: in the BOSE app, set the volume to 100 and be sure to turn off Dialog Mode for the best results.

The unpacking joy is great, the type of packaging as well as processing also super! For this, there is one star more. Negative is the constant noise when you sit half a meter away, at one meter you can no longer hear it. The speakers have a slight delay in the range of ~50ms and I hear it clearly and distinctly in ego shooter games. Pleasant it is rather not, that it is user-friendly to set up but already. The setup applies to Bose Soundtouch 300, 500 and 700.
Unfortunately, I also found that it was too quiet and did everything I could to make it louder. Through boxes and clothes I tried to calibrate it to make it quieter so that the Böxlein can later be played louder. Unfortunately this did not work for me and the Soundtouch told me: Error, please contact Soundtouch Support. On the Internet I then found out that you could adjust it with the app, which was tedious and the app is literally very lame. That the Soundtouch app hangs, does not find the desired device or settings can not be opened happens often (Galaxy S10+). If it does work, you can adjust it to the maximum under Advanced Settings - Surround Volume (+10) and even then the speakers are just acceptable - but the price is NOT.
The sounds are noticeable in (+10 surround) movies as well as series with 5.1 channel surround capability and also quite nice, but if the delay wasn't there, it would certainly be better. As an example: Netflix series "The Witcher" is 5.1 capable.
The sounds that are played back in Spotify mode are borderline. Since these speakers are only intended for treble and I often run music, it often happens that sounds stutter like already. Chants with high tones pulsating piecewise back & forth and disappear again - about every half second you hear the sound and then it disappears. It's almost like riding a train in and out of a tunnel - only several times a second and fainter. It could also be that it's played too quietly, but at conversational volume level, these speakers are really annoying and distracting.
Setup is super user friendly and extra long cable is also available which is great! If to calibrate the AdaptivQ microphone is missing, you can order it for free from Bose support. Sonos is better on the road because the app was developed so that you can use your own phone to calibrate the Sonos boxes.
My tip for more experience on the Fermseher that is priced okay: the Bose Soundtouch with the subwoofer module. (the 300 are just as good as the 700, but it is only software wise better off with the 700)

Look good, but can't be found in the Böse connect app, so for all those who want to transmit the sound signal wirelessly rather than with a cable, simply don't rely on Bose, their sound technology is great, but Böse doesn't deliver good apps - so usability suffers.
