B&O Beolit 17
24 h, Rechargeable battery operated
Great product, satisfied all round. I first bought the Beoplay A2, but broke it and got the Beolit 17. The sound is typical B&O madness, the workmanship is also top. The battery easily lasts 10 hours (so far they haven't run longer at a stretch). The bass is extremely powerful for such small portable speakers. I can use them to fill our whole hall (approx. 30x20x10m) with sound wonderfully and very loudly. I can also charge my mobile phone, which needs a little more power (OnePlus 3), with the included USB C cable. However, if you don't have a USB C port on your phone, you need another cable/adapter. The buttons on top don't look cheap and have a pleasant, tactile pressure point. I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to use it for swimming or the beach.

This little box, which looks like a cool box, can't store anything, cool anything or be outside in the rain, but it can emit a fantastic sound with a lot of bass. The battery lives for about half an eternity.

Bought them for 300.- at a sale and for the price they are unbeatable, but worth it even at full price. I have many Bluetooth speakers and these are by far the best.

I have to say that I am very disappointed with the sound. Everyone sings about it like it's a high-end device: to me it sounds like an experiment in "look we're making the deepest booming bass in a small package, everything else is rubbish".

The "box" does what it promises. I myself bought it in a sale, so I can't complain about the price. Even without the price reduction, I think it's worth the CHF 450. It would be great if the next version had a wireless charger.

Makes music like God thunderstorms: thunderclaps never sounded sweeter to my ears, glowing like the evening redness. Even the neighbours on the other side of the street like it, they've never heard it so often, wondering where the vibes come from...

Great speaker, great battery life! The only thing I’d love to see more would be that it can handle some water/dust.

Great design and unbeatable sound quality. The speaker can easily fill our whole house with sound ;). I have it in a 70m2 room and can really step on the gas. I expected more from the app and the power supply is so big that you can't plug anything else into a three-socket outlet.

An excellent speaker, with a much better sound than the classic UE boom, Bose soundlink, …
Would be perfect if water-sealed and had better control of bass frequencies

The sound is amazing and the bass almost scared me. I really didn't expect that from a portable speaker. And you can also hear very low frequencies very well. You can clearly hear that there is a real subwoofer in there and not just passive radiators as is the case with most portable speakers. With the Equailzer you can also reduce the bass in the app if you find it too much. In my opinion, it is tuned very well by default.
I also really like the design and the possibility to charge the speaker with a powerbank, even while listening to music!

Overall I am very impressed with this speaker:
The sound from such a small speaker is amazing in both quality and room filling power.
I find that the default sound balance gives a warm sound - a lot of speakers give a very shrill/sharp sound, this speaker gives a well rounded warm sound by default.
The design is well thought out - the diagonal carrying handle keeps tha speaker balanced when carrying it.

The best Blootooth speaker in this price category. Exceeded my expectations by far. I was sceptical at first because I had already tested a few speakers, but what this relatively small and light thing is capable of has far exceeded my expectations. If the Beolit 17 is set up in the right place in the home, you get an unimagined sound in the room and especially for bass lovers, the heart beats or booooooms tremendously and that without exaggerating the volume.
If you don't see the Beolit17 and only hear the sound, you would actually expect a massively bigger speaker.
Even at a moderate, pleasant volume, the very deep bass is absolutely brilliant. The sound settings via the app are also quite successful.
So I absolutely recommend buying this stylish, visually unobtrusive speaker.
A huge compliment to Denmark :-)

When I use the Beolit at home at low or medium volume, it is definitely too bass-heavy. This means that the high tones are less effective. So you have to listen to the Beolit really loud to get the full effect. I find that a pity

Product good at making noise but not sound... The bass is overdone/overdriven in its boost and not accurate, which is almost inaudible at the beginning due to the impression of a constant, stifling din. The equalizer is ergonomic and very public - in fact it is impossible to reduce these precise frequencies. A pity for such an expensive speaker. Still, it's an excellent product. It's just that I'm a perfectionist who likes a lot of bass, but good bass ;)

Has a great sound for the small box and is excellently manufactured. What I don't like is the power supply, which gets stuck in the socket. B+O should improve the sound settings. I am not convinced by the 'Tonetouch'. I would have liked to have the option of setting the highs and lows separately in the old-fashioned way.

Due bang & olufsen
They work as they should. However, the battery does not last 20 hours as described in the description and after a period of use, the box lowers the volume so that the battery lasts longer.
