There are a few things to keep in mind when using this device - then it works well. Unpacking and starting is the wrong method here. It is absolutely recommended to study the manual thoroughly beforehand. Then you won't make mistakes like I did, who initially thought it would be good to do a peeling before the treatment - because that's exactly what you shouldn't do. The skin on which the device is to be used must not have been stressed in any way beforehand. Not even sunbathing. Also, you should not have taken any medications that make the skin sensitive to light. These include aspirin, ibuprofen, or certain types of antibiotics. The skin should be shaved before application.
The first 3 treatments should be 2 weeks apart. Further treatments should be given 4 weeks apart. After that, you can use the device every now and then if necessary, in case one or the other hair sprouts again at some point. After a total of 7 to 8 treatments, the skin should be completely hairless. I have now had the first four treatments. The treated areas are already almost hairless and I don't see anything new growing there. The skin is smooth and has not been damaged.
I have treated my lower legs with the device. Before you start, you should do a skin tolerance test. On a small area of the skin you try the application and then wait 48 hours before treating larger areas. It should also be noted that one's skin should not be too dark, the hair should not be too light. It is not possible to get rid of blond fuzz or even blond or white hair with the device. It also does not work on dark skin.
Before starting the treatment, you need to select the correct energy level or activate the automatic skin tone detection. The device is then placed on the skin at a 90 degree angle. If the control lamp lights up green, a light pulse can be triggered. If the device is not placed correctly or the skin tone is unsuitable, the lamp lights up orange or red - it is then impossible to trigger a light pulse. In this respect, you can't actually do too much wrong. With the help of an auto-flash mode, further light pulses can be triggered without the need for constant manual triggering. You now treat the skin areas to be depilated piece by piece. On my legs, this worked very well. It "stings" a little when the light pulse is set, but is well tolerated. A slight reddening of the skin went away after a short time. On the face, you can also use the device - below the cheek line. Since the isolated hairs I have there are light blond, I did not even try that. According to the instructions, the device does not react to blond hair.
