Expressing the brightness in lux is somewhat misleading, as lux is the unit of measurement lumen/m2, i.e. how brightly a surface is illuminated. This depends on how large the surface is and how far away the light source is from the surface.
Does the luminaire now generate 13000 lux on a sheet of A4 paper at a distance of 20cm or 13000 lux on a work surface of e.g. 2m2 at a distance of 1-1.5m?
So specifying the brightness in lux is of little use. Specifying the luminous flux in lumen would be a more meaningful unit of measurement.

Rather cheaply made - power supply and plug must always be disconnected after use.
The device cannot therefore be used properly as a reading lamp unless it is always disconnected from the mains (in accordance with the instructions).

I use the device every day and it helps me against the morning blues so that I can get going more quickly, but it gives me a severe headache after a short time. I can only use it on the lowest setting (1 out of 6) and only for 20 minutes, otherwise I get reproducible headaches that I have to fight with medication. The skin then feels tense, like when you've been in the sun too long without sun protection.
Fun fact: if you switch on the device in the dark immediately after waking up, you can see for a fraction of a second with your eyes closed how the individual colour points are stimulated.
