Solid device that measures accurately, but...
I bought the device mainly because mine from Lidl was apparently inaccurate, and inaccuracy is a common (and devastating) problem with blood pressure monitors. So I googled Kassensturz and ordered one of the test winners. On the good old gentlemen from SRF is schliesslich reliance!
The armband is supplied as standard with 22-30cm rather small for me as a man. It goes quite scarcely nevertheless. One should consider that with the purchase. There is apparently a larger armband to buy.
In addition, there is an app, which makes no sense, however, because the device has no Bluetooth and the manual entry of data is rather cumbersome. You can only transfer the data via USB Mini-A cable (included) to the PC. Had I known this in advance, I probably would have bought one with Bluetooth, as the app for it seems relatively solid.
I'll try out transferring the data in the next few days.... ==> UPDATE:
Found out that the Beurer Health Manager software is only available for Windows. And without this software, reading the data is not possible. Very disappointing. Somewhere in the manual in an illogical place this is relatively incidental. Under these circumstances, I would have ordered me as a Mac user actually another...
After several attempts with the manual entry in the app via a table on the PC or mobile phone I have now finally tinkered a small Google form, so I have the data most efficiently noted by mobile phone.
Also, I'll save you my running up and down stairs 3 times to get the right batteries: The batteries are included, but are too low in the box ;-)
