I was very satisfied with the projector for 2 years. After calibration, the image is quite good. After a good 2 years, the projector started to have pixel errors. BenQ's repair quotation for the repair was equivalent to a total economic loss. After long discussions, the projector was repaired by BenQ as a gesture of goodwill.

This is our first beamer. Currently we look on a sand-colored wall (screen to follow). Nevertheless, the image is crisp and natural.
Setup went without problems and without detailed technical knowledge. The fan noise is audible (as expected), but it does not disturb in the slightest.
Conclusion: I would buy again immediately

I've bought three BenQs all the time, but the first one exploded beyond repair and the last one they told me I had to change the bulb I'd already changed, so I don't want any more from this brand, so be careful!
I am happy with this beamer. The quality of the image and the sound is very good. I recommend it if you are searching for a good quality beamer for watching movies or football matches directly in your wall. One needs to buy extra tools to put it in the ceiling.

Even though it's been on the market for a few years now, it's an ingenious projector and the manual zoom is a blessing for our small living room. Too many automatic corrections/settings on projectors are not always the best, thanks to the manual adjustment options (sharpness and zoom) everything can be set directly on the device without many clicks. Thanks to the 3.5mm audio output, even older speakers / hi-fi systems can be connected to the projector, which is really great! If you still need/want Bluetooth, you can retrofit this in combination with a Fire Stick, so you also have a Wi-Fi connection and access to streaming services. I deliberately opted for a projector without a built-in streaming service and in favour of retrofitting it with a Fire Stick, as the technology behind it is developing rapidly and would probably quickly become outdated as a permanently installed component... This way, I can always buy a new TV stick with the latest streaming services for just a little money and am always up to date :-) Thanks to the two HDMI connections, there's also enough space for it.
Recommendation to buy!
