I bought the monitor for photo editing....

I bought the monitor for photo editing. It attracts with a very good price for an IPS screen.

At first glance it looks very good: sharp, nice WQHD resolution, stable colours even from different viewing angles, multiple
inputs including Displayport. The speakers are a little weaker, and the operation is somewhat unergonomic and takes some getting used to.

At second glance, if you want to use the monitor professionally, e.g. for photo editing, there is a fundamental problem with the calibration: you cannot set gamma 2.2 and manual colour temperature at the same time.

The monitor offers several picture modes, only in "sRGB" the monitor has gamma 2.2, but the colour temperature is fixed. In "User" or "Standard" mode, you can set the gamma in 5 steps and the colour temperature completely manually, but the gamma steps are (measured): 1.8, 2.0, 2.0 (default), 2.4 and 2.6. The average value should be 2.2, but it is not - it is probably a firmware error.

In any case, the monitor with this deficiency is not useful for professional use.

If you're looking for a high-resolution 27" screen that doesn't have to be UHD and doesn't need USB connections, this is a great choice for a computer screen, but it's also good for watching films.

    Buy recommendation

Super 2K screen with extensive setting options. There are also a lot of pre-programmed settings.
Personally, I use the blue light reducing mode the most, as it is easy on the eyes.
The screen is mounted on a stable bracket
that allows you to adjust the screen to any desired position.

Unpacked, connected and started immediately. Be...

Unpacked, connected and started immediately. I use the monitor via HDMI on my Windows 7 64-bit desktop computer mainly for software development. I thought for a long time whether I should get a 2560x1440 or a second 1920x1080 27" monitor and decided on this one and have not regretted it so far. The monitor does exactly what I was looking for.

    Pro

    • All required cables included
    • Picture quality
    • Works immediately via HDMI on Window 7 64Bit

    Contra

    • Operation a little fiddly - but I don't need it often
    • Speakers not particularly - I don't need them at all

Super monitor for working and designing with height and tilt adjustment and eyecare

The monitor has a very pleasant and sharp picture and does not flicker thanks to Eyecare. The height and tilt settings are very configurable, so that the optimal setting can be adjusted quickly and easily. Speakers and sound not optimal, but not important for me. I use the monitor mainly for work and design.
    I can highly recommend it.
