I bought this turntable as a beginner in the vinyl world. For the price you get a decent turntable with many functions. I do not miss the automatic for start / stop. I like to guide the needle onto the record myself.
Since it already has an internal pre-amp, the player can be connected directly to an AUX input of an amplifier (in my case even directly to the SONOS Play5). For listening with headphones, however, it needs a headphone amplifier.
The case is only plastic. Looks good, but feels just cheap. For me as a beginner but quite OK!
Good price / performance ratio.
Update March 21:
I have this turntable now a few months in operation and am still very satisfied. However, I have "pimped" him a bit:
- The felt mat has given way to a rubber mat. This reduced the static charge of the records almost completely.
- The included VM95N pickup has fallen victim to an upgrade to the VM520EB. The difference is very audible to me.

- I no longer use the turntable's internal PreAmp. Here, too, there was an upgrade to the Pro-Ject Phono Box S2

In addition there is the Pro-Ject Head Box S2

and the headphone Beyerdynamic DT 880 Edition 250Ohm

Contrary to what some comments say, the turntable doesn't look 'plastic' or 'cheap' at all, quite the contrary. Only its very light weight may remind us that the shell is made of plastic, but that's all.
No motor noise, perfect audio output.
