I have already tested several monitors. But this one has convinced me. IPS Glow is hardly present and the image is razor sharp. The color reproduction is really good thanks to IPS.
The buttons are a bit fiddly until you get used to it.
The monitor is quick to set up, stable and is overall well made. Especially the thin edges make a difference.
The monitor is immediately recognized as G-Sync compatible by the Nvidia card. The same goes for the Xbox One X with Freesync.
So far, I have not found anything that I could criticize. Runs cleanly and smoothly.
Pro
I have 2 unresponsive pixels on the top left corner (they get dark but as soon as it's too bright they only switch to white) and the first row of pixel flickers when overclock is set to 165 hertz,
Otherwise really good screen, a little bit of backlight bleed on the bottom right corner.
I would suggest to check the MSI MPG27CQ2 and LG 27GL850 as alternative.
As always there's a bit of luck involved when purchasing a new screen with the panel lottery.
Best price/performance ratio
A Full HD from Asus costs only slightly less and has everything on board that you need for gaming.
The colours of the ROG look a bit better but I don't know if that justifies the minimum 200.- extra charge.
I am completely satisfied

it's crazy the difference with my old DELL 27" from 2008, the 144 fps make the rendering incredibly fluid if you have a good GFX card of course, the HDR is crazy, the adaptativ sync and the ELMB are just incredible, I want the same in OLED and it's perfect
Pro
Has no backlight bleeding, only IPS Glow.
The colors are really good, unfortunately the HDR option is miserable, when HDR is activated the picture quality deteriorates.
