I bought one each for me and my wife. We use the monitor mainly for gaming purposes, especially first-person shooters and role-playing games. We switched from a "normal" WQHD 60Hz monitor.
The fact that the monitor uses both 144Hz (with Boost 165Hz or similar not used) and GSync is immediately noticeable after such a switch. Not all games are GSync-compatible (e.g. No Man's Sky, with deactivated VSync and active GSync there are many picture errors), but most of them are, and it's a great feeling! This may be subjective and different for everyone, but we notice it very much!
The only drawback is that the screen "only" delivers 8-bit color depth. Previously, we had 24 bits, so several gray transitions are displayed much better. However, you only notice this when you really pay attention to it (e.g. Rise of the Tomb Raider, shadow transitions sometimes look like in Tomb Raider 1).
All in all: I don't want to go back to GSync, nor do I want to go back to 144 Hz. But I will pay attention to the color depth in the next one :-)

Yesterday I switched from a cheap BenQ 60hz 1ms monitor to this novelty and was very positively surprised. My review is of course only a first impression, but so far the monitor has exceeded my expectations.

Hammer monitor
I can only recommend it.
As always with Asus, top quality. Really makes you feel good. You can display the fps at the touch of a button.

Ideal for gaming
However, I have not evaluated other features. (e.g. colour coverage etc.)
