The perfect device for programming on the go or doing something productive.
The CPU power is sufficient for playing games, programming and running Docker containers.
Power consumption is quite low at 100W and the battery lasts up to 6 hours with everyday use (YouTube, 40% brightness display).
A clear positive surprise is the GPU: Although it is "only" an integrated graphics unit, you can play Genshin Impact with 60fps (low, 1080p) and Satisfactory 55fps (low, 1080p) on it without any problems - even with a battery.
The speakers are significantly better than those of mobile phones and can also be used for YouTube & Co.
The display can be bent 180° - Windows then switches to tablet mode. This is quite OK but often not practical (e.g. keyboard always opens in Discord). Touch responds well and is practical. I don't use the included stylus very often, but it could be useful for CLIP STUDIO & illustrations. With Full HD, the display is not high-resolution, but this is not noticeable on a 13".
The keyboard is good but nothing out of the ordinary (<> are in Swiss layout - handy for programming).
A huge disadvantage of this "laptop" is the I/O. There is only one HDMI, one 3.5mm jack, one USB A and one USB C Gen3.2, so it is not compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and 4. In addition, you can't use the USB C port for charging and data transfer at the same time if you don't have a docking station (note that all TB3/4 docking stations don't work here!). An RJ45 is also not available. WiFi6 is fast, but this eliminates the possibility of connecting via cable. I had no problems with BT.
Charging is easy via USB C - thanks ASUS! It's just a shame that there is no second USB C port.
I deduct one star due to the poor I/O. Otherwise, the device surprised me positively on many points - also with its rather "moderate" price for the form factor. It's perfect for my developer purposes and is so small that you can take it practically anywhere (it's lighter than all the other laptops I have).

I have installed Debian (LMDE 6) and it works perfectly.
The ventilation is solala according to the form factor. If you do something that needs power, then the fans are correspondingly loud. Otherwise they are virtually inaudible. Raising the rear of the NB slightly with a small base helps to keep the temperature lower. I haven't had any problems with overheating and switching off so far. But I also work on the notebook and don't game.
The battery life is subterranean if you are used to notebooks with ARM processors.
Has coil whining. Can be annoying, but doesn't have to be.
I like the notebook :)

Fortunately, I was able to return it and get my money back. Thank you

My feedback is based on 2 days of troubleshooting and not being able to use the computer.
As soon as a graphically intense task is launched, the laptop overheats and switches off. Then it reboots and everything is lost.
I thought it was the BIOS or the system not being updated. Nope that's not the issue.
I thought that the power management set on standard was not properly setup. Well it reboots even on "power saving".
There are 3 different apps managing the power. ASUS, AMD, and ROG. No idea if there could be any conflict.
I opened a ticket on Asus support... To discover that this new laptop had already been registered.
What a poor experience. My recommendation for now is don't buy. It maybe a lemon though.

Actually a great laptop if you want an all-rounder like this. Unfortunately, this is exactly the problem, the laptop is too small to offer good ventilation, so the CPU gets hot very quickly/82-87 degrees when starting a game or downloading data... so the computer switches off and restarts again...I had some fun because the laptop could still perform when playing games, but unfortunately only for 20-30 minutes, then it switches ab☹️ had to return it afterwards

A gaming computer in name only
This is the worst computer I've ever owned. Although it's supposed to be suitable for gaming, it doesn't fulfil even a minimum of its promises. I don't understand why it's part of the ROG range. This computer isn't designed for gaming or video editing at all. Every time I run a task that requires the integrated graphics card, it overheats and reboots to avoid damaging the components. I'm aware that this type of computer isn't designed for very demanding games, but if it shuts down as soon as I launch the smallest game, that's not normal. Avoid it!

As a computer scientist, I thought a cute little notebook from Asus would be great. In my 16 years as a computer scientist, I have never received such a bad notebook.
The fans roar away as if it were a helicopter. No matter whether it's idle or when a web browser is open (CPU load < 20%).
When I received the device new, the notebook crashed every time I started any software: "fatal hardware error". I then sent it to Digitec for repair.
2 weeks later, I received the device back. Hooray, it no longer crashed when starting software (motherboard was replaced), but it crashed for no apparent reason, 10 - 15 times a day. According to the event log, "serious hardware error" again.
Well then, the device goes to Digitec for the second time. Today I got it back. Lo and behold, Windows has been locked and the device can no longer be used.
Conclusion:
It has already been serviced twice at Digitec and I received it back today. Windows was locked during the service so that I can no longer use the device. Service 3 will now follow.
I can recommend Lenovo!
ASUS - For those who dare - Notebook of horror!

Yes, perhaps I'm also a bit biased as a big ASUS fan who had already been recommending almost exclusively ASUS components for computers to my customers for over 10 years.
It is a very successful, handy and flexible notebook at an unbeatable price of CHF 799 on sale. At first I considered buying a cheaper notebook for work, but my experience over the years has shown that it really does make sense to spend a little more and then have good computing power for a long time. I'm very satisfied so far and of course you could say a second M.2 port for another SSD or a larger SSD would be great, but at this price there's really nothing to complain about. You also have to bear in mind that it has sensational performance and features in this size!
I think it's normal for this little thing to get a little hot when playing on the keyboard. The fan is also set as standard so that it doesn't get unnecessarily loud, which I think is great. I find it a little fiddly to open, although I don't have fat or sausage fingers :-) This is probably because it's just thin.
If you want a gaming notebook, you'll have to spend a bit more and get one with a dedicated, more powerful graphics card. A larger display also makes sense. But for occasional gaming, this one is OK.

エミリア has already covered many technical aspects ...
I found the packaging surprisingly appealing. the thing even comes towards you when you open it (!)
the next thing I noticed was the lack of additional USB ports (guaranteed to give me a headache in the future)
and then something beeps quietly (another reason for good sound;)
M$'s forced account could be "bypassed" and W11's curiosity somewhat limited - but the fact that a similarly curious MyASUS programme transmits data is an annoyance.
last but not least: the feel is good. i like to touch it

Very practical, small laptop that can be used for occasional gaming.
Similar to the ROG Ally series, a Radeon 680M (integrated GPU) is available here, which can be used very well in terms of performance for occasional gaming.
I would prefer the models with a dedicated graphics unit to this model, but the price difference is significant (especially on sale).
32GB RAM is absolutely fair, especially at a price below 1000.
The keyboard feels great and its size is not noticeable in a negative way.
