SALT WORKS FOR ME!
I only read the comments regarding Salt after the purchase (29.11.2018). I had the same problems at first and of course got annoyed when I read the entries here in the forum! I was almost wrapping up the router again.... And got it to work for me with my last attempts!!! The following settings work for me:
Advanced Setting >> WAN >> 1st tab "Internet Connection".
APN profile:
- APN Configuration: "Man. Einstlg."
- Select location "Others
- APN service: enter "internet" (without inverted commas)
- Dial-in number: leave blank
- Username: leave blank
- Password: leave blank
- Authentication: Select "PAP
Hope this helps you! Before I found out these settings, I had updated the router to the latest firmware (3.0.0.4.384_32960), but I assume afterwards that this did not lead to success, because even after the update nothing worked at first. Only the above APN data led to success.Work really well
It works very well. My 4G connection really improved, some of the settings are a bit tricky to set but it is manageable. To only down is the VPN that needs two routers to works...

Fast and reliable
I use this router only in 4G for internet at home. Everything is connected to it (TV, smartphone, PC, printer) and it works very well. No worries at all.

Very easy setup, generates very fast internet using only a SIM card. In situations like ours where a cable connections isn’t an option but 4G is available, it’s a perfect solution
Super WLAN coverage, many setting options
I had very poor Wi-Fi in my study with a Netgear R6120 (had to go through 2 walls). With this device, the reception is now 1A. My measurements with speedtest.net showed results that were almost 3 times faster! And I haven't even connected an external antenna. I am more than satisfied.
