Theoretically a super thing, but in practice many shortcomings.
I own an Iphone 12 Pro Max with the official mag safe leather case from Apple.
The phone gets way too warm when charging, which is why I would advise anyone who values the longevity of the battery as well as the internal components of their brand new Iphone 12 against buying this charger.
There are arguments that you should just take the phone out of the case before charging, but that would eliminate all the time savings of wireless charging.
If you don't care about all that and you're going to buy a new phone or replace your battery after a year or two anyway, I highly recommend this thing.
Especially for people (like me) who own an iphone 12 model and an apple watch this charger is very handy. It also looks really great!
Do not forget that you also have to buy the 20W adapter from Apple if not already available. The old 18W adapter that came with the iphone 11 pro(Max) does not work for example.
Btw, if you want to make the "best bang for your buck" move, just buy a "female usb-c to male usb a" adapter and continue charging your new iphone with the 5W power supply we all have lying around at home anyway.Pro
