Unit meets expectations
It seems to be the only handheld on the market that also offers SSB.
Pro
- Workmanship seems good, operation is also ergonomic after getting used to it.
Contra
- The original antenna is too short, must be better replaced by more expensive product
Very poor, even unusable reception quality!
I hope the replacement device will be functional!
Useless reception quality with the current device. NOTHING can be heard from the other station. This of course with full RF-GAIN sensitivity and the longer Hyflex aerial. Tried again with mobile adapter and house aerial: ZERO chance!
In a direct comparison in the same QSO: President George II: Radio 4-5, Santiago 7, then with Albrecht AE 2990 AFS: NOTHING except shrill noise from the small loudspeaker...Pro

Upper class CB radio
The product keeps its promise (so far). Simple operation explained in an understandable way. The frequencies seem to match the OFCOM list. Otherwise the frequency step in the lower frequency range can be adjusted: 27.2050 MHz then becomes 27.2040 MHz. I am satisfied.
