After a few weeks, the lock in the lower section no longer holds and it can no longer be bubbled, the water sprays in all directions. Even with a new replacement unit, the same problem occurred with proper use.

The only good thing is that the water is sparkling...
At first glance, the machine looks pretty attractive. It looks robust with its metal body. But unfortunately, that's just how it looks. Underneath the bodywork, the machine is made of plastic (I dismantled one completely, because it had a factory defect).
The main problem with this machine is that it's impossible to make sparkling water without a fair amount of water falling into the drip tray. I've tested exactly where the water falls: on the line of the bottle, below the line, above the line, by pressing the button with a sharp jerk, by pressing gently, by opening the lid quickly, by opening the lid gently, by testing the method recommended by the manufacturer in the manual ... in the end there's always plenty of water next to it.
Another problem is that the diameter of the neck of the bottle is quite small, compared with soda stream, so the cap of a bottle prepared several hours before and whose gas is well balanced is hard to open (my wife complains about this!). What's more, the cap is smooth and the seal tends to come out easily. Not great at all for handling!
One final point: one of the machines I received was defective from the factory, so I contacted Aarke after-sales support. The faulty part was a silly compressed gas piston that allows the head to be raised to its upper position, a repair that would have taken me a good 15 minutes with the part. Aarke refused to send the part, so I had to send the whole machine back (long live 'Made in China' and zero spare parts in Europe).
As you can see, I wouldn't recommend either the product or the brand!

I am very disappointed as the bubbler stopped working after 6 months. Can only advise against buying it and don't understand various tests.

After just a few weeks in operation and about 25 bubbles, the closing mechanism no longer works - and so it is no longer possible to bubble.

The device worked for 5 days, on the sixth the lock didn't work anymore. It doesn't come into position anymore, it jams at mis course. You have to take a fork and pull the body and push the locks. If you don't do this, the cylinder opens and the gas shoots water everywhere.
I wish I had bought a part that had a problem and that it was not due to poor workmanship.
picture 1, locked position, the pin is in line with the rivet

I am very disappointed. Expensive product, does not fulfil my expectations.
No matter how long I wait after bubbling, a lot of water always runs out
