IQaudio DigiAMP+

DigiAMP+ is a HAT-compliant add-on for the Raspberry Pi.

DigiAMP+ uses the Texas Instruments TAS5756M PowerDAC to enable a direct connection to passive stereo speakers with up to 2x 35 WPC and variable power. It is ideal for a Pi-based HiFi system.

DigiAMP+ can be connected to the 40-pin header of the Raspberry Pi A+/B+/RPi2/RPi3 or RPi4 without any additional soldering.

DigiAMP+ must be powered by an external power supply and requires a 12 to 24 DC power source for operation. The barrel connector of the DigiAMP+ is 5.5 x 2.5 mm. The DigiAMP+ is designed to power both the Raspberry Pi and the DigiAMP+ in parallel, providing 5.1 V @ 2.5 A to the Pi.

Do not apply power to the Raspberry Pi's own power input when using the DigiAMP+.

The amplifier is muted by default when powered on (Mute LED is lit). The mute function/LED is controlled via software (Raspberry Pi GPIO22).
