Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF+ is a carbon fiber reinforced composite filament based on Polyamide 612 (PA612, Nylon 612). PA612 combines the best properties of PA6 and PA12, such as toughness and reduced water absorption. By adding 15 wt.% of short carbon fibers with optimized length distribution, the mechanical and thermal properties, as well as the surface quality of the printed parts, are enhanced. Compared to Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF, it has a higher strength-to-weight ratio, better interlayer adhesion quality (strength in the Z-direction), and improved dimensional stability. After annealing, the thermal and mechanical properties are further enhanced. PA12 CF+ is an optimal choice for lightweight and stable end applications, such as fixtures and many other functional parts in manufacturing, automotive, and aerospace industries.

Printing Tips:

• Printing temperature: 260° - 290°C
• Printing speed: 35 - 100 mm/s
• Print bed: 60°C
• Layer: 0.15 - 0.25 mm (0.4 mm nozzle)
• Cooling: on (first layer off)
• For optimal adhesion: Use adhesive and suppress cooling for the first layer
• Dry Raise3D Industrial PA12 CF+ before printing for 12 hours (drying temperature: 80°C)
• Set the nozzle temperature higher for thin-walled geometries to achieve better interlayer bonding and mechanical properties.
• After printing, it is recommended to temper the model with the support structure in the oven at 80-100°C for 8-12 hours.
