Product details
With the impressive Morpheus II Core Black, Raijintek now enters new territory and presents its first high-performance cooler for graphics cards as an upgradeable alternative to the stock cooler. As with the CPU coolers from the aforementioned company, the Greek mythology has to be used for the name. As the son of Hypnos, himself the god of sleep, the name-giving Morpheus is considered the god of dreams. This alludes to the dreamlike silence capabilities of the black VGA cooler, whose noise emissions will certainly not deter anyone from sleeping. The sheer size of Morpheus is a logical consequence of the considerably increased thermal performance of modern high-end graphics cards. These now deliver many times the performance of CPUs, which can only be managed with correspondingly complex cooling systems. Standard coolers meet this problem with a rather simple solution - fast rotating fans. Negative side effect: High noise pollution, especially in gaming and 3D mode.
