Zyxel XGS-PON Bridge PM7300
Zyxel XGS-PON Bridge PM7300
The product will also work with Swisscom and/or Wingo
Hi cybi If I'm not mistaken, one is included. I also bought the bridge and now have a cable in reserve because I used the Swisscom one. If I'm wrong, I'll send you mine ;) Lg
Dont you just want to switch the Swisscom Box to bridge mode and switch off WiFi? If you really want this box, look through the comments. Quite a lot of info there regarding configuration. M
This is just a bridge. I set the VLAN tag on my router.
yes but not with wingo but with iway pm7300 ->opnsense ->vlan -> ipv.4 and ip v.6 you may still have to activate the connection and only then will you get a public ip

First step: check that the PM7300 is in Bridge mode and on the correct firmware version (Swisscom list: https://www.swisscom.ch/content/dam/swisscom/en/ws/documents/E_BBCS-Documents/e_bbcs_supporting-documentprovedequipment.pdf) V5.42(ABYY1.3)C0. The easiest way to do this is to connect a PC directly to the PM 7300's RJ45 interface, then configure the DHCP 60 option on the router (pfsense) and set it to 100008,0001. After that, you need to call Wingo technical support and ask them for the NSN number. I had to make two calls to find someone who understood my request. Then once everything was configured and connected (OTO - PM7300 - Router) I didn't manage to activate via the Swisscom.ch/start page, but using my smartphone as soon as I connected to the WIFI, the Wingo registration page was displayed. All you have to do is enter the same data as when you installed the IB4 (with the exception of the activation number, which has been replaced by the NSN) and you're done. If you succeed, I'd be interested to know what speed you get. In my case, I have 8 Gbit/s download but only 1Gbit/s upload. I haven't managed to solve this problem yet...
Should actually work, once set you simply get a public IP. But without a firewall. This is usually not recommended for security reasons.
According to their site (https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/hilfe/geraet/internet/fremdrouter.html) it's on, yes. But I don't use Swisscom myself, so I can't confirm whether it does.
Yes it is possible. You can either leave the zyxel MAC, specify the MAC, or have it mirror/passthrough the MAC from the device connected on the LAN side. In my configuration, I have a new router cloning the MAC from the previous SWISSCOM router, and the zyxel is configured to mirror that MAC
Hello Drehzahl I am also interested in this product in connection with Sunrise. According to Swisscom you have to configure the DHCP option 60 with the value 100008,0001 on the UDM Pro. In addition to the VLAN 10 Let's hear from you ;o)
We do not have any personal experience with this article and therefore cannot answer the question. I will gladly enter it here, maybe a user can help you.
Not sure if I understood question correctly, but just in case - it does work with Swisscom fibre 10Gbps line. In my configuration it's set to Bridge mode (actual firewall behind XGS-PON is OPNSense).
