Verbatim Slimline
Blu-ray burner
The answer from Verbatim support from Eschborn Yes, the drive can also burn 100GB M-Disk
Hello Verbatim writes about this: Compatible with all common CD, DVD, and Blu-ray formats Compatible with BDXL - discs capacities of 100GB and higher In other words, it should be able to cope. However, I have no personal experience of this
Thank you for your experience report. Unfortunately, Blu-Ray is becoming rarer and rarer and the devices are also being discarded. However, I can recommend this Blu-Ray adapter: LG BP55EB40 (Blu-ray) According to customer reviews, it is Plug & Play.
Hoi - in the manual: https://www.verbatim-marcom.com/image_Verbatim-43889_Optical-Drive-User-Guide-German-20_02_508318.pdf from page 4 the formats are listed, hope that helps. LG
It must be in the manual. But it is very unlikely. Smart TVs usually only support the FAT32 file system. DVD/BD have a file system that works quite differently.
Yes, it works perfectly, I also use it on the MacBook Pro.
Yes, that is possible
Could be a problem with the power supply. Does it have two USB ports (Y-cable) for connection to the computer? Both plugged in?
I have tried it. Connected to my Android devices (one is a Samsung smartphone) -> Nothing works, the drive gets no power. This drive also has no driver for Android devices. The internet says there is a way around this, but it looks too complicated to me, so I'd rather put the audio CDs in Dropbox.
If I want to test this for you. How do I do that?
No, this is "only" a Blu-Ray drive. It cannot play 4K Blu-ray. This model has the designation #43889 and cannot do that, but there is another model #43888 and it could play 4K UHD movies. This is the drive that can also play 4K UHD (they are both called the same but only this one plays 4K files): Verbatim Slimline (Blu-ray)
