I had a similar problem with the 4K resolution, so I bought the SEK-3500U/ZG UHD-KIT to go with my TV so I could have the high resolution with the razor sharp picture. But then came the next problem with the TV box, no colours only black and white (grey levels), the picture was visible but with slight picture disturbances (blocks). I then bought a new (expensive) HDMI cable and now it works perfectly, super picture quality. I don't have a UHD player, but it could also be due to the HDMI cable, as very high data rates (up to 18 Gbit/s) are needed for 4K.

Hello, I have the same TV model and have been using the kit with the PS4 pro since Saturday. The picture quality is very good (Titanfall 2, Mafia 3, Dishonored 2). Resolution and HDR seem to work, but I consider the response time when starting up the TV and accessing SmartHub to be worse than with the original unit. The new remote control takes some getting used to, but works well. All in all, I am satisfied.

Hello I'm using the kit with a UE65F9080 and a PS4 Pro, here's what I can report after a few days of use: - The picture (basically) is significantly better than with the box originally supplied. Netflix and YouTube also support 4K on the PS4 Pro. I'm really amazed at how much improvement was possible. - PS4 Pro now runs stably on it, only when I activate Game Mode, a black screen greets me as soon as I wake up the PS4 from Rest Mode or restart it. It still seems to be an HDCP-dependent problem on the part of the PS4 Pro. Therefore, it is best to set the connection type of the HDMI port to "Game", but do not activate the Game Mode in the system settings for the time being. Other TVs also have this problem, so we can hope for an update from Sony. - Input lag is not noticeably different than before, although I have not activated Game Mode. But it also depends on personal preference how much it bothers me. - In the picture settings, "UHD Color" (or something similar) can be activated in one of the submenus. After a restart, the PS4 Pro addresses the TV with RGB colour space and even allows HDR (as far as possible with the 8bit/10bit panel of the F9000 series). - The picture in the games (tested Uncharted 4, Dishonored 2, Battlefield 1, Ratchet & Clank, CoD Infinite Warfare) is also significantly better (i.e. very very good). There is still a lot to be done here in the future, as the implementation of checkerboard renderings is not yet the case everywhere. Conclusion: I was faced with the same question: invest 400CHF or wait and invest the sum later in a new TV? but I am very satisfied with the result, also because 1080p material from Blurays, YouTube and Netflix clearly benefit from the new kit.

You've got it right. Unfortunately, you need the Evolution Kit in addition! As I work in a radio/TV business, I was allowed to clarify this myself for a customer. As soon as you have put the kit into operation, you can enjoy Swisscom UHD.

If necessary, restart the television (unplug it) and try the installation again (including re-plugging/fixing the cable). If necessary, do not actually plug in the cable until you are prompted to do so by the setup. Otherwise, I can refer you to a thread in the HiFi forum. You might find help and ideas for solving the problem there. Good luck! http://www.hifi-forum.de/viewthread-151-30300.html
