I just looked at the Digitec entry and found this information in the specifications: SIM card type eSIM, Nano-SIM SIM type Hybrid Dual SIM SIM Slot Nano-SIM SIM Slot 2 microSD, Nano-SIM One might wonder why the eSIM capability is not highlighted in the description, nor is it mentioned in the summary of key features: "256 GB, Awesome Violet, 6.40", Hybrid Dual SIM, 50 Mpx, 5G". I can only speculate that this capability is not yet important to most buyers, as most have plans from Swiss providers (SwissCom, Sunrise, Salt) with nano-SIMs. However, I made sure this model had the eSIM capability before I bought it because I wanted to buy a Japanese eSIM for unlimited mobile data when I travelled to Japan. You can buy one for a period of 7 or 10 days. You need to have an internet connection, e.g. WiFi at the hotel, to download and install the eSIM.

USB-C can be used in both directions. USB-A to USB-C is then also clear for smartphones. If you do not have a charger with a USB-C connection, you will need to buy one (for C-to-C charging).

As a simple and effective remedy, place the phone overnight in a bowl or similar with dry rice and cover with rice. Leave it in a warm place. When reusing, make sure that there is no rice in the USB C plug. If the problem persists, make a warranty claim and send it to the appropriate centre.
