Samsung Flip WM55H
3840 x 2160 Pixels, 55"
Possible with Samsung devices and Windows devices. With Apple devices we need Apple TV on the hdmi connection.
Does it have a browser on it? I didn't know that ;-) Presumably this is only possible with a firmware update ...
This should be possible according to our clarification with the manufacturer.
I have never tried this. Sorry. What seems to work is working with Samsung products/phones. We only use it unidirectionally from Mac to screen. Works fine. But the screen, after just under 2 years, already has a grey streak that makes about 20% of the screen look a bit darker.
I can only confirm this. The implementation - especially the customer service really more than poor. We bought such a device at the end of last year - it had a number of technical problems and was then DOA. The exchange was a nightmare the handling was subterranean. If you have a problem with the unit you are referred to a company in the UK - there you spend hours in the phone queue only to be cut off. The documentation is very rudimentary and of little help. Business-class devices - a real joke. A pity really - the idea would be very good. We would not buy such a device from Samsung again.
We do not have this problem, it works perfectly, even for hours. The intentional switching of whiteboard mode/HDMI also works as expected. We bought the device in Dec 2018 and installed a firmware update in June 2019. If not done, this could possibly solve the problem.
Hello stephan.melchior I have tested the device for a few hours (in order to be able to give a presentation with it). My first conclusion about this part is simply COOL! As for your question about TV and films, this is basically possible (but you always have to select the HDMI input after switching on and then set the picture to full screen), but basically you can watch TV in 4K comfortably :). The speaker in the TV is unusable (sounds like a PC speaker from the 90s), here I would really strongly recommend going directly via Swisscom Box.
As far as I know, this is not possible without an external PC. But then it would certainly include the touch function of the display.
According to the specified image resolution, this should be the case. Do all imported documents look the same "pixelated"? Regardless of the file type? The inputs on the flip are "sharp"?
When will Digitec add the successor - Samsung Flip 2 (WM55R) - to its range? I saw it at Steg today.
We are already in contact with the supplier. Unfortunately, we do not have any more precise information as to when we will be able to offer the article.
The touch output is supplied via USB and can thus be connected to the laptop. We have a small PC in the meeting room and need the Flip as its screen because the Samsung software is for nothing. It works great and browsing is no problem thanks to the touch keyboard in win 10. Very happy with the setup Mini-PC + Flip (+ HDMI 4:2 switch + beamer. So one screen of the PC can be on the beamer and the other with touch on the Flip or the Apple TV on the Flip or an external laptop on the beamer and the PC on the Flip or, or, or.... ).
Give me the answer myself: http://hagor.de/wandhalterung_fuer_samsung_wm55h_flip/
I'll give myself the answer right now https://airtame.com/blog/samsung-flip/
Yes, that is possible.
Synchronisation of two WM55H is not possible.
According to our supplier, both products are included, display and trolley. EDIT: 09.04: Only the display is included in the delivery. The trolley must be purchased separately. https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/samsung-stn-wm55h-monitor-zubehoer-7948837
