The Sonicare 9900 Prestige offers more smart features, improved pressure control with visual warning signal and a longer battery life than the DiamondClean 9000. It is quieter, has a higher water protection class (IPX7) and has five cleaning programmes, while the 9000 only offers four. The 9900 Prestige can be controlled via an app, the 9000 directly on the appliance.
The product is charged using a USB-C cable. It can be charged either in the supplied travel case or on the charging station, which has a permanently integrated USB-C cable.
The Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige is safe and efficient for braces and dentures, including fillings, crowns and veneers. Therefore, it should also be suitable for lingual braces (upper and lower) as it is generally designed for braces and dentures. However, it is advisable to speak to a dentist or orthodontist before use to ensure that no specific adjustments are required.
We work with daily prices, which can be influenced by various factors such as purchasing conditions, stock levels and supply and demand. It can therefore happen that bundles are more expensive than the individual products they contain.
The problem with this set is that we only have one source of supply, which has different conditions. As a result, this offer is actually more expensive than the individual components.
However, we are in talks and hope to be able to offer more attractive conditions soon.
My observation is that the noises appear as soon as I use the brush for longer than intended. I assume that the wear on the brush is not necessarily the brush head, but the stress on the connection to the handpiece caused by the ultrasonic vibrations. In any case, it gets better again as soon as I replace the brush.
No, the cleaning station for the Sonicare 9000 Diamond Clean is not compatible with the DiamondClean 9900 Prestige (HX9992/12). The DiamondClean 9900 Prestige uses a new charging system that differs from that of older models such as the Sonicare 9000 Diamond Clean. Charging stations labelled "CBA" (e.g. CBA1001, CBA2001, etc.) must be used for the DiamondClean 9900 Prestige, while the older models such as the Sonicare 9000 Diamond Clean use charging stations such as the HX9100.
Unfortunately, we do not offer spare parts for this toothbrush, I would recommend you to contact the manufacturer directly, they can certainly help you with this.🫡
The Philips sonic toothbrushes can also use soft brush heads. The toothbrush comes with an A3 Premium All-in-One brush head, which is Soft according to the manufacturer.
If you have sensitive gums, this Swiss toothbrush might also be a good choice, it also comes with a soft brush head, but it is not made of polyamide and absorbs water, which can change the bristles, but of patented Curen filaments, which do not absorb water and do not change (Swiss invention :-)). Curaprox is specially designed for sensitive gums. The brush head is very small compared to other models from other manufacturers, which also helps for gentle cleaning, as it is very easy to reach everywhere. In addition, a single brush head is also included which allows you to gently clean along the gum line, also with very gentle bristles. For sensitive gums, the Curaprox is the first choice. And in terms of price anyway.

The information at Digitec is not quite correct.
There is only one toothbrush HX9992 (11/12 refers to the colour). It has 3 intensity levels High, Medium, Low.
And 5 cleaning modes: clean mode, deep clean mode, white+ mode, gum care mode, sensitive mode.
You can find all the information here:

I have since purchased the toothbrush myself and unfortunately have to confirm that the data is completely mixed: When two different brush attachments are used with the same Sonicare device, it synchronises the use of all attachments to the mobile phone.
Unfortunately, the toothbrush itself is no different. According to the manufacturer, each user would have to use the app separately and pair it again each time, as the app only stores one person.
