Take a look at the website : https://www.philips-hue.com/de-ch/p/hue-tap-dial-schalter-weiss/8719514440999#overview You clearly need a Hue Bridge to configure the Tap Dial.

For each Philips Hue light source, including the Aurelle, you can specify how it should behave after a power failure. To do this, you need the Philips Hue app. Select your product under Settings -> Lamps. Then activate the menu item Switch on (light behaviour when switched on). In the next submenu, you can define the switch-on behaviour. - Standard (warm white full brightness) - Last on (last used colour and brightness) - Switch on again after power failure (stays off or switches on again) - to measure (select colour and brightness)

Switch and lamp communicate neither via Bluetooth nor via WLAN but via Zigbee. Either directly with each other or via bridge. Bluetooth is only there so that it can be operated with the smartphone without a bridge and so that the set-up is easier. Existing hue lamps (if powered) extend the range. Therefore I would try it via bridge. Good luck

There are two models of this luminaire. With the basic version, you can choose between different warm and cold light colours. With the other luminaire, you can adjust the entire light colour range. For this reason, the basic version is cheaper!

The BT stands for Bluetooth. I also only know the Philips Hue Aurelle base (BT) with Bluetooth. Maybe the "BT" is simply missing in the name. Please check whether Bluetooth is in the description. Then IMHO it is the same lamp.

Here is the answer from our supplier: The angle of illumination is 108.5 degrees for the panel. This is certainly super wide to avoid shadowy corners. The light is distributed evenly around the luminaire. However, there is no backlighting, which means there is no lighting on the ceiling itself. All light is directed around and under the luminaire.
