Hello, unfortunately you cannot use the router as a satellite. Alternatively, the router would support AP (Access Point) mode. In this case, a new network name is created and you would have to change the network manually for mobile devices.
According to our information from the manufacturer, both units have an area coverage of 525 square metres.
Should work, yes. But I would rather recommend the Ubiquiti APs.
