Le mode d'emploi indique: Updating BIOS with Flash BIOS Button 1. Please download the latest BIOS file that matches your motherboard model from the MSI® website. 2. Rename the BIOS file to MSI.ROM, and save it to the root of your USB flash drive. 3. Connect the power supply to CPU_PWR1 and ATX_PWR1. (No need to install CPU and memory.) 4. Plug the USB flash drive that contains the MSI.ROM file into the Flash BIOS Port on the rear I/O panel. 5. Press the Flash BIOS Button to flash BIOS, and the LED starts flashing. 6. The LED will be turned off when the process is completed.

The MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI motherboard supports 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen processors and future Ryzen processors with a BIOS update. However, it does not specifically list compatibility with the Ryzen 5 5600G in the provided data. For precise compatibility, it's best to check the official MSI documentation or contact their support, as the Ryzen 5 5600G is a 3rd Gen processor and should generally be compatible, but specific models like the 3400G and 3200G are noted as not compatible in some contexts.

I have just looked this up, which is somewhat hidden. According to information from MSI in the following PDF, an Intel Wireless-AC 3168 is installed. https://storage-asset.msi.com/datasheet/mb/de/B550M-PRO-VDH-WIFI.pdf According to Intel's information, a 2.4GHz and 5GHz band is covered and thus complies with the 802.11ac standard. WiFi6 has the specification 802.11ax and therefore your question must unfortunately be answered with a "no".

Does this board support ryzen 5600x?

Yes, but you either have to install a different CPU and update the BIOS first, or you have to flash the BIOS via USB. Before this is done, the PC will not "post". If flashing is done via USB: Format the USB to FAT32 and delete the name from the USB. (This also deletes all data on it, important!!!). Download the latest BIOS version from MSI. Open the BIOS folder (there should be 2 files, the .txt can be ignored) and copy the large file into the USB. Change the file name to msi.rom. Insert the USB stick at the back of the I/O shield in the second row from the top, on the left. Press the flash button. (I/O shield at the top left) Then a red light should flash inside the PC where the stick is plugged in. Do this for a few minutes, then the PC will restart and everything should work.
