Logitech Z533
Ciao Tarek I just installed the speakers at my place. The supplied cables are already about 2m long, if you need more I recommend you to buy a cinch extension. (Make sure that the 2 cinch extensions are divisible, as you only need one cable per speaker).
The two speakers are connected to the subwoofer with a cinch plug. So yes, you can use a cinch extension cable.
Please note that switches are not supported by the Z533 system. It depends on the settings of the PC and the console which one the boxes have selected as priority. Depending on which device is considered preferred.
I would check with Media Markt... in that case. But it could well be: Dead on Arrival resp. Dead in the Package...
I haven't measured it, but it's good enough to have the subwoofer on the floor and the satellite speakers & control panel on the desk. I would also recommend this, because the subwoofer makes noise (even when switched off).
The button is permanently connected to the speaker set. I set the low tones once, set the volume to medium and stuck the button under the desk and control everything via Windows.
I recently replaced the speakers for exactly this reason. Now that I work very often in a home office, it became annoying. Unfortunately, this seems to be a weakness of the speaker system. However, let me reassure you from my own experience. Babies don't let something like that disturb their sleep :).
The audio plug is well inserted in the PC? Or this could be static from the power? Is the PC power connection earthed? Have you tried another device? Maybe connect headphones. Does it make the same noise then?
For about 2-3 months, I have also had a short, regular (approx. 30 sec. interval) "crawling" of the boxes with certain audio sources. This occurs mainly when watching TV via the PC. I have not been able to find a cause for this.
That is normal for the boxes, I also had the problem, so I sent it back.
The cable length between subwoofer and control element is 1.65m
Ca. 1.7m
The cable is approx. 1.60m long. It is long enough to place the subwoofer under the desk and to position the control unit appropriately on the desk.
