Can I connect this SSD to a Mac Mini late 2014. I would like to use this SSD as a boot medium. Specifically, I want to connect the SSD and the Mac Mini with Thunderbold. greetings lars

You'd have to try it out. I don't think it's a problem to connect the SSD via Thunderbolt 3.

Hello - I am looking for an external SSD hard disk as a backup medium for our laptop and another ext. HDD disk. As we are travelling in South America and the disc is subject to extreme stress (vibrations, storage temperature, dust), the most important quality features are robustness and speed. In addition, the interfaces and the software should be supported by Apple (including Time Machine). Could you please give me a recommendation. Many thanks and best regards, Jan Hiddink

This disk is very suitable, it is particularly robust and fast. I recommend formatting the SSD to exFat, then it can be used with Windows and macOS.
