No, the mixing tools are made of cast aluminium, sprayed white and all very solid.

Competitor devices are all equipped with more watts. Consistently. And I wonder whether a 300 watt KitchenAid doesn't have too little power? As this would be my first food processor, the question arises: "Is more wattage more useful?" What do you think? Does anyone have any experience with other competitors, such as Kenwood, Bosch, etc.?

Just want to add - I received this model today and the cord is short, it's 93cm + 4cm the plug itself. Please change it in the description, it may be important for some people.
