Helpful answer

Hi, I've also had a problem with a Google Play card (bought from another supplier). The problem was that a CHF card is only valid in Switzerland. I bought it in Switzerland, I live in Switzerland and the Google account was created in Switzerland. I did everything I was asked to do, with proof to back it up. I've done everything I was asked to do. Nada. I was told to reconfigure my device or wait for the next Android update. Wearily and extremely angry, I sold my tablet and closed my Google account. I switched to the competition. No problem at all. And I'm realising that you can live just fine without a Google account.

You have to pay directly with a credit card or Twint, then it works quickly, but I recently paid with a credit note and the Play voucher was not created... I cancelled and ordered again, then paid with twint, and it worked as described, but I still had to ask for the lost credit back, it wasn't returned automatically.
