Denver WCM-8010 Game Camera
According to the manufacturer's data sheet, the sensor can travel up to 20 metres.
Yes, she does.
In principle, the transmission via 3G works ... but: In the course of the modernisation 4G, 4G+, 5G, the 3G coverage is getting worse and worse, so that the function cannot be used reliably everywhere. Moreover: The SIM slot is indeed an extremely shaky affair ... In the meantime, I have ordered the successor model with 4G / LTE support directly from the manufacturer in China, but I have not tested it yet.
Yes, here in the description it says the "angle of view". normally it would be the FOV = Field of view = Angle of view on the instructions
The sensor detects a maximum of up to 25 metres. Unfortunately, we were not able to obtain any information from the manufacturer about the data at night.
I didn't manage to take only pictures either. Since the shutter release for video is also so catastrophically slow, I returned the thing. To put it mildly, the product is unusable.
I used the Ansmann APS 1500 power supply (universal charger). You can adjust the volts and amps. But I had to remove the rubber strap completely so that the current doesn't have a loose contact, but then it works great... I don't know the exact size of the camera, but it's hanging in my girlfriend's horse stable...
According to our own research, this is unfortunately not possible with this wildlife camera. Also, unfortunately, we do not have cameras that take photos at a certain interval. I am sorry.
I have a Lyca Sim card and send it directly by e-mail to the GMX address. Works perfectly. Only battery wear of 1.5v (according to my measurements, this is mainly due to the voltage) leaves a lot to be desired.
Order a free sim card from Lyca Mobile online, buy 500mb at the k-kiosk (= approx. 4fr/month) and off you go. Install the sim card according to the instructions with the supplied CD and off you go. lg
According to consultation, the range should be 25 metres, but we were never able to test this ourselves. For this reason I would like to enter it in the community, maybe a user can help you. :)
It needs a card, the internal memory is not even enough for 2 pictures. It didn't work for me without one.
Of course without sim card, Denver is "only" a camera manufacturer :). Just buy the sim card at a telecommunication provider (prepaid is best, then buy internet MB, approx. 50-80kp per picture per mail is necessary).
That is the purpose of a wildlife camera, that it takes photos automatically :) the interval can be set in the settings, but not switched off. You could, however, select a high interval and use the timer to select a small time window. The timer is set by default to 24 h. 00:00:00 - 23:59:59. If you reduce this time window, movements are only recorded during this time.
