The Dell UltraSharp UP2720QA is the upgraded version. It has newer and faster USB and Thunderbolt ports and, above all, they have optimised the power consumption by drastically lowering the standby consumption and rather significantly the in-use consumption. In terms of quality, both are excellent.

Neither the one nor the other description is good. It looks to me as if it is the same product. Although Digitec has relatively good product descriptions, there is a lot of careless copy / paste. The apparently different values when comparing the two offers can all be found on my monitor (20671411), which I bought about 15 months ago for CHF 1500. The response times, for example, are - 6 ms grey-to-grey in fast mode, - 8 ms grey-to-grey in normal mode. Weights: 5.55 kg is the monitor without stand, 9.71 kg with stand. The favourable offer comes from Jacob. Hence the "crooked" price and the longer delivery time. Incidentally, I am very happy with the monitor and would buy it again. Especially for the favourable price.

Thunderbolt is USB-C with a little more speed. Specifications from the manufacturer: Thunderbolt™ 3 Upstream (USB-C) | 7. Thunderbolt™ 3 Downstream (USB-C). Link: https://www.dell.com/al/p/dell-up2720q-monitor/pd?ref=PD_OC Should therefore not cause any problems.

I agree, so you should be able to use this function with a MacBook without CalMAN: https://www.dell.com/de-de/shop/dell-ultrasharp-27-4k-monitor-mit-premiercolor-up2720q/apd/210-avbe/monitore-und-monitorzubeh%C3%B6r#techspecs_section
