The SSD mentioned should be compatible with the ASUS GL552VW-CN114T.
I bought it and I need it for work and gaming. As long as you don't want to play Battelfield or the like on the highest setting, you can do that without a problem. I upgraded it with an SSD, it runs flawlessly and boots quickly. Don't worry so much about viruses, as long as you don't hang around on dodgy sites and the like, nothing much happens. I haven't installed any anti-virus software and haven't had any problems. Otherwise Avira, Avast etc. Hope I could help you further
A slot for SSDs in M.2 2280 format is available. Please note that only the SATA interface is supported by the motherboard. NVMe (PCIe) SSDs like the Samsung 950 PRO are NOT compatible with this device.
How much storage space the SSD has makes no difference. If the form factor is correct (presumably 2.5" for this laptop), an SSD with 2.5" can also be installed without any problems.
As a rule, the warranty should not be voided. However, if the installed parts have a damaging effect on the remaining components, no guarantee can be given for this.

There are two slots for HDs, one with the M.2 2280 form factor and one 2.5". So you can have both.
Well, you have a guarantee, so contact Digitec customer service. Or give a little more info what exactly is not working. That problem doesn't say much... digitec@digitec.ch +41 44 575 95 00 Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 18:00
Unfortunately, we do not have any exact information about the battery life.
No, red is the only colour. Only the brightness can be changed.

So if that's what it says, it's probably true. Otherwise it would be a false statement and therefore also a reason for returning the product if it does not correspond to the specifications on the product page.
Ciao Office is not on it yet, only Win10. Yes, my laptop also gets warm, but that's usually due to the low air supply. If you're working at a table, get yourself one of those thin-legged coasters. That way it won't get so warm when you're gaming. I hope I was able to help you. Have a nice day
Samsung 950 Pro is an NVMe SSD, it will not work with this laptop. The laptop supports M.2 S-ATA SSDs (AHCI) & normal SATA SSDs, but not M.2 PCIex4 / NVMe SSDs. Try Samsung 850
The best way to find out is on the internet. However, you can't do too much wrong when choosing, the programmes don't differ too much nowadays and in the end they all do the same thing. Any site that makes a compilation and tests these programmes will most likely come up with different results (Google: Virus protection test or Top10). Here is one of them: http://www.bootmgr-fehlt.de/virenscanner-im-test/
Maybe? The providers don't normally communicate promotions in advance. Maybe you will get a tip from the customer service! digitec@digitec.ch +41 44 575 95 00 Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 18:00
According to this review, 2 storage media can be used: http://www.ultrabookreview.com/8975-asus-rog-gl552vw-review 1x M.2 SSD + 1x 2.5" HDD / SSD I would install 1x Samsung EVO 850 2.5" SSD. I don't know if I could do it myself without losing the warranty.
Yes, it is possible to make an estimate. Yes, this version has a plastic back (the other back is plain metallic). Yes, it is possible to install an SSD.
still in german... https://eu-rma.asus.com/pick_eu/ch_d/serial.html
Unfortunately, we cannot offer the aluminium version. We do not rule out that we will offer the desired version in the future, but we cannot yet communicate or guarantee anything concrete. We ask for your understanding.
Thank you very much :D
