The industrial pellet 3D printer G5, independently developed by Piocreat, offers a cost-effective and highly efficient 3D printing technology. The Piocreat 3D G5 features an impressive build volume of 500 mm x 500 mm x 500 mm, dual Z-axis lead screws with dual pull rods, and a rapidly heating bed that can reach 60 °C in just over 2 minutes, which is remarkable for a print bed of this size. The print bed can reach a maximum temperature of 150 °C, helping to reduce warping of technical high-temperature plastics.

The granulate is fed from the hopper into the screw extruder system, where it is extruded through nozzles with diameters ranging from 0.8 mm to 2 mm. Combined with a print speed of over 100 mm/s, this allows for deposition rates of up to 200 grams per hour. The G5 can print with layer heights ranging from 0.2 to 1 mm. You can use a variety of pellets in the G5, including PLA, ABS, polycarbonate, HDPE, and many more.
