When you connect both Joy-Cons with the Joy-Con grip, you can use them like a traditional controller. Without the grip, both can be used independently as two separate controllers. Thanks to the HD rumble, you can feel the ice cubes moving in the glass as you move the Joy-Con. The infrared motion camera of the Joy-Con (R) detects shapes, movements, and the distance of objects that the camera sees.
