Product details
The solid Lenco L-3807 resembles the legendary Technics SL-1210 in many details, making it a true tool for the ambitious DJ. In addition to its very solid construction and high weight, the L-3807 features a genuine direct drive, allowing it to reach its nominal speed almost instantly at the push of a button, as desired by DJs.
The markings embossed on the platter edge, along with a stroboscope light, serve to monitor the exact speed of 33 1/3 or 45 revolutions per minute. If necessary, the exact speed can be adjusted with a screwdriver on a small potentiometer – the test unit was 100% accurate out of the box. DJs will also appreciate the pitch control designed as a slider, which allows for beat matching during lively disco sessions.
Additionally, the Lenco features two buttons that can temporarily increase or decrease the speed, perfect for synchronizing the beats of two turntables. Speaking of disco: in addition to its truly solid construction, spring-loaded feet, and a robust tonearm, the Lenco L-3807 includes a small LED light directly at the needle's contact point, which is very handy in a dark disco basement.
