Product details
Single-coil pickup for the bridge position. In 1955, Seth Lover was tasked with eliminating the hum from the P-90. He succeeded with his humbucker, but the P-90 sound was lost. Today, the P-90 is experiencing a resurgence due to its massive tone, and many guitarists reluctantly accept the annoying 60Hz hum. Chris Kinman's P-90 Bucker is the solution to this problem. It offers a thick tone without any hum, featuring piano-like basses and a powerful attack. In the bridge position, it roars like the original from the old days. Together with the P-90 Bucker at the neck, they produce a lively, slightly hollow sound. Chris Kinman describes it as Knopfler-esque. E6-E1: 50mm. This makes it suitable for most bridge positions, but not for bridges with a 54mm string spacing, such as vintage Strat bridges with 6-point mounting or Tele bridges.
