Product details
The single-pole mechanical built-in thermostat is very robust due to its galvanized steel sheet housing and can be used even in harsh conditions. The measuring system operates based on the principle of liquid expansion and can be used without issues up to a maximum permissible sensor temperature of 230 °C. The smooth round sensor made of copper has a diameter of 6 mm and a sensor length of approximately 113 mm. The thermostat's remote cable is also made of copper and can be flexibly routed with a bending radius of 5 mm. The maximum permissible ambient temperature at the switch head is 80 °C. The switch head is mounted using a mounting bridge secured by two screws M3 x 22. Using a screwdriver, the desired cut-off temperature can be easily set on a scale. The temperature limiter features a high switching point accuracy of +0/-5%. A key advantage is that no additional auxiliary power is required for temperature measurement. The electrical connection is made at the flat connectors of the switch assembly, which can directly switch a maximum permissible switching power of AC 230 volts / 16 A. The thermostat has a release differential of approximately 10% of the scale range, after which the device can be easily unlocked by pressing a button. The temperature limiter is very versatile and is used in heating, air conditioning, and ventilation technology, as well as in the plastics industry, apparatus and oven construction, and for temperature monitoring in laboratories and climate chambers. The device is certified according to DIN EN 14597 and has UL and EAC approvals.
