The InLine Network Media Converter 10/100/1000Mb/s TP to Fiber Optic (SC Duplex), MM, 550m is designed for cost-effective migration or expansion of existing networks. The converter complies with various IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standards and features an RJ45 10/100/1000Base-T port as well as a fiber optic SC Duplex module slot. It provides fiber optic connections to remote network segments and is also excellent for connecting buildings. With this converter, it is possible to connect optical networks over distances of up to 550m by directly connecting both devices via fiber optic. System administrators can deploy the converters anywhere in the network without making changes to the existing cabling structure. Its compact size allows for installation in any desktop environment.
