The Fujinon XF23mm F1.4 R features a focal length of 23 mm (equivalent to 35 mm in full-frame) and is well-suited for a wide range of subjects, including landscapes and portraits. It delivers impressive image results with high resolution from the center to the edges, along with excellent contrast. The extremely powerful optics minimize distortion, eliminating the need for digital correction. With its high light intensity of F1.4, this lens is excellent for low-light photography.

The XF23mm F1.4 R consists of eleven elements in eight groups, including one aspherical lens. It also features seven aperture blades that create a nearly circular aperture opening, resulting in an outstanding bokeh effect.

The precise focus ring, like the aperture ring, is made entirely of metal, allowing for accurate and comfortable manual focusing. The distance and depth-of-field scales on the lens are very useful for manual pre-focusing to capture fast-moving subjects.

The short minimum focusing distance of 28 centimeters enables impressive close-up shots.
