Fujifilm Fujinon XF 16-80mm F4 R OIS WR

The XF16-80mm offers a minimum shooting distance of 35 cm over the entire zoom range (maximum magnification of 0.25x). It weighs only 440 grams and is about 40 percent lighter than a comparable lens for a 35mm system. It is also very compact with a length of 88.9 mm and a diameter of 78.3 mm.

If the lens is used on a Fujifilm X-T3, the combination weighs only 979 grams. In combination with a Fujifilm X-T30, the weight is even only 823 grams. Due to its versatility, compact dimensions and low weight, the XF16-80mm is also an ideal travel lens.

The XF16-80mmF4 R OIS WR is a 5x universal zoom lens consisting of 16 lens elements in 12 groups. This includes three aspherical lens elements and one aspherical ED lens. The lens design ensures uniformly high imaging performance from center to edges and effective minimization of aberrations.

The new zoom lens features an optical image stabilization system that allows shutter speeds up to 6 EV levels longer. Thus, the lens can be used in a variety of situations, e.g. even in difficult lighting conditions. The photographer does not have to worry about possible blurring. In addition, the XF16-80mm has a particularly fast, precise and quiet internal focusing, which is controlled by a powerful stepper motor.

The design and feel of the lens underline the first-class quality and durability of the product. Zoom, aperture and focus ring offer optimum ease of use.

The lens is splash-proof and dustproof, and is also ready for use at temperatures as low as minus ten degrees Celsius. In combination with a weatherproof Fujifilm camera body (e.g. X-Pro2, X-T1/T2/T3 or X-H1), photographers can take pictures without hesitation even in light rain and dusty environments.
