Folex T-shirt films

A specialty paper for printing on white and light T-shirts, baseball caps, and other cotton textiles. Print your design (even in high resolution) on the specially coated transfer paper and transfer the image onto the textile using an iron.

Characteristics

Compatibility

• Suitable for most large-format inkjet printers with solvent ink systems (eco, light, mild solvent inks, etc.).
• Not suitable for printing with oil or water-based inks.

Processing

• Under ambient conditions of 15 - 30 °C and 30 - 70 % relative humidity.
• A 24-hour acclimatization in the processing area is recommended.
• Printer setting: vinyl, coated paper, etc.
• Heating in the printer up to about 48 °C is possible; higher temperatures may cause distortion of the film.
• Laminating: cold or hot laminates (low-temp) are possible, but not necessary due to the waterproof prints.
• For correct loading into devices, please refer to the device instructions.
• Ink load: approximately 220 - 280 % (may vary depending on the ink system).
• Avoid fingerprints on the print side.

Storage

• Shelf life of at least 1 year after delivery (unopened packaging, under the specified storage conditions).
• Store in a dry and cool place at a room temperature of 15 - 25 °C and a humidity of 30 - 60 %.
