Works with serial RS-232 devices. Connects to switches, routers, barcode scanners, GPS units, point-of-sale devices, laboratory equipment, network storage devices, modems, graphic tablets, and other devices with a serial DB9 port. Supports data transfer speeds of up to 230 Kbit/s – twice as fast as a built-in serial interface.

Easy to set up and ready to use immediately. No external power supply is required, and only one connection is needed. Simply connect the device's USB-B port to your computer's USB-A port using the included 0.9 m long USB cable. The device is compatible with any USB cable up to 4.9 m. A green LED provides a quick indication of data activity. The device weighs only 57 grams and is conveniently portable in a backpack or laptop bag.

Compatible with major operating systems. Works with Microsoft Windows (up to Windows 11) and macOS X (up to Ventura 13.3.1) and includes Windows Line Monitor and Data Trace software. The device supports both 32-bit and 64-bit systems and features continuously updated drivers available for download from the device's technical support page.
