Product details
The DFPlayer Mini is a small and affordable MP3 player module for Arduino with simplified output directly to a speaker. The module can be used as a standalone unit with an attached battery, speaker, and push buttons, or in combination with an Arduino UNO or another microcontroller via serial RX/TX communication.
There is already a ready-made library for communication that makes your work even easier. It is important to install a resistor between the serial lines (TX => RX and RX => TX) to ensure current limiting of the Arduino output. To operate the module, you will need a formatted MicroSD card, on which you create a folder named MP3. You can then copy your MP3 files into this MP3 folder, naming them 0001.mp3, 0002.mp3, and so on. With the command mp3_play(1), for example, you can play 0001.mp3.
