The absolutely classic Model S (The Keyboard 3) in the professional version is particularly popular with purists due to its appearance reduced to the essentials. The characteristic design with the chassis widened in the num-block makes it easy to recognize the brand affiliation. Apart from a USB 2.0 hub with two ports on the side and status LED displays, nothing disturbs the clean overall appearance of the mechanical keyboard. Dedicated multimedia keys are not necessary here; use in the original sense, along with high speed and accuracy, are at the forefront.
Nevertheless, the Model S can trigger various multimedia functions via key combinations, so there is no need to do without them. The surface of the keyboard is finished in black, noble-looking piano lacquer. Two fold-out feet are integrated into the underside, allowing for angle adjustment of the keyboard. The solid chassis and high weight provide the necessary stability for daily typing.
The keycaps of the keyboard are laser engraved in the professional version, making them durable and finely finished. If the keyboard is connected via USB, it still works extremely fast in 6 KRO mode.
The Keyboard 4 uses mechanical Cherry MX switches of various types, with the version offered here utilizing Cherry's popular "MX Red" switches, known for their high sensitivity and ease of operation, making them the ultimate choice for professional gamers. They are characterized by a low release weight (approximately 45 grams) and a smooth, linear pressure feel, enabling high-frequency double and triple releases for particularly fast actions.
