Noise is an annoying side-effect caused not only at the airport by departing aircraft and in road traffic by passing trucks. Especially in their own four walls, many people therefore try hard to provide peace and quiet to find relaxation. Unfortunately, in many cases the PC also opposes these efforts and is annoying with high noise levels during operation.
The sources of noise are all rotating components, especially fans and hard disks. These should be decoupled and if necessary the speed should be reduced. Many cases support these measures and offer appropriate equipment ex works.
In addition, insulation can provide for even less external noise. With this modified version of the Corsair Graphite 780T, both approaches are connected and the housing is equipped with pre-installed insulation.
The special feature of this composition is that in addition to the pre-installed insulation mats, additional insulation material is included. This is also cut to fit exactly and allows additional sealing of further housing parts. As a result, you can choose how much insulation you want to use to achieve an individual optimum of cooling and volume reduction.
