With the dual recording function, the same event can be recorded simultaneously as Full HD video and 17 megapixel photos (16:9). The EOS R1 has a back-illuminated stacked full-frame sensor with 24.2 megapixels, which is characterised by excellent sensitivity and incredible speed.

The speed you need. Capture fleeting moments with customisable continuous shooting up to 40 fps and shutter speeds up to 1/64,000. There is virtually no rolling shutter distortion. With pre-shooting, moments can be captured even before the shutter release button is fully pressed.

In focus: the performance. Deep learning and AF cross-type sensors identify and track subjects with phenomenal precision. The DIGIC Accelerator processor supports Action Priority mode, which automatically determines the main subject in football, volleyball and basketball and shifts the AF area accordingly.

The EOS R1 also offers an even faster and more reliable connection via WIFI 6E and 2.5Gbit LAN for professional use at major events.

Hybrid creativity. Frame rates of up to 60p and various recording formats are available for first-class 6K video recordings. With the dual recording function, the same event can be recorded simultaneously as Full HD video and 17 megapixel photos (16:9).
